SYNOPSIS: January on the Bering Sea is one of the coldest and roughest times for crab fishing. During this time, the fishermen return to their boats for the second part of crab fishing, the opilio crab season. As crews return, they'll prep their boats, the bait and the supplies and hope that this season will be even more productive than the last. While the Maverick continues to prep for opilio crab, the Time Bandit departs from port in the middle of the first big snow storm of the season -- the perfect time to depart in their eyes. Sig Hansen and his crew on the Northwestern prepare to start a marathon season of cod fishing first and then continue straight on to the opilio season. Will his crew be able to keep up the grueling pace of back-to-back seasons?
