SYNOPSIS: The Time Bandit hits the jackpot, while mechanical problems slow the Wizard. The Northwestern is pulling good numbers, but poor counting by greenhorn Jake infuriates Sig. A mechanical problem stops the Northwestern dead in her tracks, pressing Edgar into action to make a dangerous repair. Plain old hard work starts to separate the greenhorns on the Wizard -- one begins to falter as the other steps up to the job. Poor fishing on the Cornelia Marie frustrates Capt. Phil, whose failing health causes him to make a mistake that endangers the boat and his crew. At last, the Early Dawn switches her gear over to red crab but has to drop her first pots in nasty weather.
